Public Betting Trends
According to our NFL Football Public Betting Chart page, the Eagles are receiving 54% of the betting tickets from online sportsbooks.
Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Spin
DeSean Jackson (abdomen) has been ruled out for Week 7 against the Cowboys. Jackson still hasn’t been cleared to practice since going down in Week 2. He’s making progress in his recovery, but there’s still no set timetable on his return. Mack Hollins has struggled to replace Jackson as the Eagles’ deep threat, getting held catchless the last two weeks.
Dallas Cowboys Fantasy Spin
Randall Cobb (questionable, back) is expected to play against the Eagles in Week 7. Cobb sat out last week’s game with a bad back but it appears he’ll be on hand for Sunday night’s divisional tilt against Philly. The former Packer has operated as the Cowboys’ primary slot receiver this year, though that role has not led to much fantasy significance. Cobb has averaged a sluggish 35.3 yards over the life of his current four-game touchdown drought.
NFL Betting Trends
Philadelphia
The Eagles are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven road games but are 1-4 ATS in their last five games versus conference opponents.
Dallas
The Cowboys have covered the spread in 10 of their last 11 games versus divisional opponents.
Prediction
If the Cowboys are getting Tyron Smith, La’El Collins, Amari Cooper and Byron Jones back, then I like them tonight. Smith and Collins are the players I’m most concerned with, given how much Dallas has struggled without its two offensive linemen the past few weeks. The Cowboys aren’t overrated, they were just banged-up. But if they’re healthy, then I like them over an Eagles team that is also banged-up, especially in their secondary. So if Smith and Collins play tonight, then I’ll lay the three. If those two are out, then I like the Eagles given how the ‘Boys have struggled to win without those key pieces. So pay attention to the inactives ahead of tonight’s game.
