Chargers vs. Titans Week 7 Prediction
A pair of 2-4 teams will meet in Nashville on Sunday when the Titans host the Chargers at 4:05 p.m. ET as a 2.5-point home favorite. Given how this is essentially an elimination game for the loser, which team will producer for bettors?

Los Angeles Chargers Fantasy Spin
Chargers LT Russell Okung won’t suit up for the team’s Week 7 matchup against the Titans. The Chargers didn’t make a transaction today by the 4pm EST deadline, so Okung will have to wait at least another week before being activated off the non-football injury list. The Chargers will continue to move forward with LT Trent Scott as Philip Rivers’ blind-side protector.
Tennessee Titans Fantasy Spin
Titans activated DT Jeffery Simmons (knee) from the reserve/NFI list. Simmons was expected to miss his entire rookie year after a pre-Combine ACL surgery. He returned to practice this week and showed well enough to be activated off NFI. It’s an impressive recovery from Simmons, but the Titans will likely ease him in with low snap counts. A projected top-15 pick before his injury, Simmons could make an impact down the stretch.
NFL Betting Trends
Los Angeles
.The Chargers are 9-1-1 against the spread in their last 11 games against the Titans and are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four trips to Nashville.

Prediction
I won’t try to minimize the Chargers’ issues because they have many. Their offensive line is banged-up, they can’t run the football and Philip Rivers looks gun shy in the pocket. Nevertheless, I’ll take Rivers over Ryan Tannehill and I’ll take a desperate Chargers team with the ability to rush the passer over an inconsistent Tennessee team in which I have to lay points. As an underdog, I usually like the Titans. As a favorite, I usually fade the Titans and today won’t be any different. I think we see the Bolts’ best effort today with their season essentially on the line.
