PHILADELPHIA, PA (The Spread) – The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys meet in a key NFC East game on Saturday at 1PM ET on FOX.

Philadelphia is 3-3 on the season, 0-2 at home and 3-3 against the spread. Dallas is 3-3 overall, 0-2 on the road and 5-1 against the spread. Dallas has won its last two against the Eagles.

Trends show that the road team is 4-1 against the spread in the last 5 games in this series. Dallas is 4-10 ATS in its last 14 games against division opponents while Philadelphia is 5-2 ATS in its last 7 against NFC opponents.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Philadelphia is the favorite at home, as the Eagles have odds of -2.5 points against the Cowboys. The over/under total for the game has been set at 55 points (View Matchup). The opening odds for this game had Philadelphia favored by a point. The spread quickly jumped to 2.5 and held firm. The over/under total opened at 56.5 points, its peak. It dropped to a low of 54.5 before moving back up to 55.

Philadelphia is coming off a 31-20 win over Tampa Bay last week. The Eagles have now won two straight and are doing so without Michael Vick, who has a hamstring injury. Nick Foles has stepped in and has 542 passing yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions. LeSean McCoy has rushed for 630 yards and three touchdowns while DeSean Jackson has 34 receptions for 589 yards and five scores.

Dallas is coming off a 31-16 win over Washington last week, but the Cowboys suffered some key injuries. The team lost leading rusher DeMarco Murray for at least this week with a knee sprain. Still, the team has Tony Romo, who has thrown for 1,693 yards and 14 touchdowns. Dez Bryant has been big for the offense as well, as he has 34 receptions for 459 yards and six touchdowns.

In terms of Injuries, Dallas defensive end Demarcus Ware is out with a quad injury while defensive end Edgar Jones (groin) is questionable. Philadelphia tight end James Casey (groin) and safety Patrick Chung (neck) are both questionable.
