FOXBORO, NE (The Spread) – A pair of familiar faces will meet in New England on Sunday when Tom Brady and the Patriots host Peyton Manning and the Broncos at 4:25PM ET.

DENVER: The Broncos improved to 2-2 on the young season with their 37-6 thumping of the Raiders in Week 5. They covered as a 6.5-point home favorite and are now 2-2 against the spread while the under is 2-2 after the combined score fell short of the posted total of 47 points. Peyton Manning leads the team with 1,162 yards passing while Willis McGahee has a team-high 325 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Demaryius Thomas, meanwhile, leads the team with 325 receiving yards and Von Miller has compiled a team-high three sacks.

NEW ENGLAND: The Patriots ran their record to 2-2 with a convincing 52-28 win over the Bills in Buffalo last Sunday. New England exploded for 31 points in the fourth quarter as Tom Brady completed 22-of-36 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns. The Pats covered as 3.5-point favorites and have now covered the number in three of their first four games. Brady has thrown for 1,227 yards this season while Rob Gronkowski leads the team in touchdowns with three. Stevan Ridley has also rushed for 339 yards, while Wes Welker has racked up 380 receiving yards thus far.

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Patriots as 6.5-point home favorites over the Broncos, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 51.5 points. Denver is 2-2 overall and 0-1 on the road, while New England is 2-2 overall and 0-1 at home.

TRENDS: The Patriots are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games in Week 5 and 5-1 ATS in their last six games versus the AFC. The Broncos, meanwhile, are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games in October and 1-4 ATS in their last five games in Week 5.
