Bet Patriots vs. Dolphins Odds
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com currently list the Patriots as a 1-point favorite over the Dolphins in Week 4. The line opened as a pick’em, but within a day the point spread moved to Miami +1 and outside of it briefly raising to 1.5, the odds have stayed the same throughout the week.
The Patriots are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five meetings with the Dolphins, while the underdog is 4-1 against the number in the last five overall meetings between these two teams. The road team, however, is 5-1 ATS in the last six overall meetings.
The Patriots come into tonight with the 8th best passing attack in the NFL, but the 28th overall pass defense. They’re also 13th overall in offensive rushing yards per game (123.3), but 24th overall in run defense (119.0 yards per game).
The Dolphins’ best strength right now is their pass defense, which has allowed only 193.3 yards per game. Tom Brady and that vaunted New England passing attack will certainly test them tonight, but Miami has the playmakers in the secondary to hold its own. The Dolphins also rank 20th overall in passing yards, 15th overall in rushing yards and 22nd in run defense.
Kickoff for tonight’s game is set for 8:30PM ET on ESPN. For up-to-the-minute point spread changes for tonight’s game from Sun Life Stadium, check out our official NFL Odds Page.
