NFL Week 3, Regular Season
Washington DFS Spin
Dwayne Haskins completed 19-of-33 passes for 223 yards and a touchdown in Washington’s 30-15 Week 1 loss to the Cardinals. Haskins missed a few critical throws late in the second half and early in the third quarter. His target distribution was fairly narrow, with 24 of his 33 passes going to Terry McLaurin, Logan Thomas, and Steve Sims. It’s clear Washington wants to hide their quarterback’s deficiencies with a conservative game plan. Haskins will be a borderline superflex start next week against the Browns.
Cleveland Browns DFS Spin
Baker Mayfield completed 16-of-23 passes for 219 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Browns’ 35-30, Week 2 win over the Bengals. One week after despair rolled through “The Land” in the wake of the Browns’ unwatchable loss to the Ravens, Mayfield was much better vs. a Bengals defense that was missing Geno Atkins and Mike Daniels up the middle. Mayfield looked crisp from the Browns’ opening drive, taking advantage of play-action rollouts to hit a number of chunk gains. None was bigger than his 43-yard touchdown strike to Odell Beckham on the Browns’ second series. Beckham used a double move to get a step on William Jackson III and Mayfield delivered a perfect pass in stride near the goal line. Mayfield lost a potential second, 36-yard score to Beckham after WJIII got away with obvious DPI. Mayfield did make a dunderheaded decision on his INT, weathering a near sack before failing to see WJIII over the middle of the field. Tonight was the bare minimum of what the Browns need Mayfield to do to be long-term successful, but he was night-and-day better than Week 1. For Week 3, he will be facing a Washington front seven that made life miserable for Carson Wentz in Week 1. Hopefully RT Jack Conklin (ankle) will be ready to return.
Washington vs. Browns Betting Prediction

On the other side, the over is 8-1 in the Browns’ last nine games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game and is 4-0 in their last four games when favored.
