Redskins vs. Giants Total Prediction
The Daniel Jones era started off with a bang last week when the rookie led the Giants to a victory in his first NFL start. Does this Sunday’s NFC East matchup between the Redskins and Giants in East Rutherford have shootout potential for bettors?

According to our NFL Football Public Betting Chart page, the Giants are receiving 69% of the betting tickets from online sportsbooks.
Washington Redskins Fantasy Spin
Case Keenum (foot) was officially listed as “full” in Thursday’s practice. It means he will be out there against the Giants. The new question is, will Terry McLaurin. McLaurin popped up as “limited” on Thursday’s injury report with a hamstring issue. McLaurin’s absence would significantly curb Keenum’s (already risky) streaming appeal.
New York Giants Fantasy Spin
No surgery was recommended for Saquon Barkley in his recovery from a high-ankle sprain. Coach Pat Shurmur confirmed that Barkley isn’t expected to undergo surgery on his ankle. Shurmur also stated that the Giants have no plans to put Barkley on the injured reserve list at the moment. Barkley’s 4-8 week timeline could feasibly position him to return in Week 12 following the Giants’ Week 11 bye. Wayne Gallman is expected to work as the offense’s featured back during his absence.
NFL Betting Trends
Washington
The over is 20-6 in the Redskins’ last 26 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
New York
The over is 6-1 in the Giants’ last seven games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
Prediction
Statistically, this is a matchup of two bottom-5 defenses and with no Barkley for the Giants, I imagine New York will put the ball in the air plenty with Jones. The over is 4-1 in the Redskins’ last five games overall, is 4-0 in their last four games played in the month of September and is 4-1 in their last five conference games. On the other side, the over is a perfect 5-0 in the Giants’ last five games versus conference foes and has cashed in four of their last five games overall.
