NASHVILLE, TN (The Spread) – The New York Jets and Tennessee Titans meet up on Sunday looking to pick up a key victory, as the two meet at 4:05PM ET on CBS.

Tennessee is 2-1 on the season, 1-0 at home and 2-0-1 against the spread. New York is 2-1 overall, 0-1 on the road and 3-0 against the spread. The home team has won three of the last four in this series.

Trends show that the Jets are 6-1 against the spread in their last 7 against the Titans and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 trips to Tennessee. The Titans have went under the point total in 7 of their last 10 conference games.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Tennessee is the favorite at home, as the Titans have odds of -3.5 points against the Jets. The over/under total for the game has been set at 39.5 points (View Matchup). The opening odds for this game had the Titans favored by 4.5 points. The spread was never greater than that and is now at its low with the Titans favored by 3.5 points. The over/under total opened at 38.5 points and reached a high of 40 before closing at 39.5.

The Titans are coming off a 20-17 win at home over the Chargers last week. Tennessee has had all three games decided by 7 points or less. The offense is keeping the ball on the ground, ranking 7th in the NFL in rushing at 133.7 yards per game. Defensively, the Titans have been solid, holding opponents to just 307.7 yards per game. Chris Johnson has rushed for 256 yards to lead the offense while Jake Locker has thrown for 572 yards and three touchdowns.

The Jets are 2-1 following a 27-20 win over the Bills at home. Like Tennessee, New York has had all its games decided by 7 points or less. The Jets have been very competitive due to its defense. They are holding opponents to 16.6 points and 270 yards per game. The defense has also compiled 12 sacks, led by Muhammad Wilkerson, who has three sacks. Offensively, Geno Smith has thrown for 801 yards with three touchdowns and six interceptions. Bilal Powell has rushed for 226 yards and one score as well.

In terms of Injuries, New York cornerback Dee Milliner (hamstring) and safety Oday Aboushi (knee) are both questionable. Tennessee tight end Delanie Walker (toe) and linebacker Zaviar Gooden (ankle) are both questionable for the game.
