The spread dropped to 3.5 points during the week before moving back to 4.5. The over/under total opened at 44.5 points and has since dropped the hook.

Kansas City is off to a 3-0 start, having beating Philadelphia on the road last week. The Chiefs have had an impressive defensive showing thus far, holding opponents 11.3 points and 309 yards per game. The defense is being led by Justin Houston, who has 7.5 sacks already on the year. Offensively, the Chiefs could be better, averaging just 333 yards per game, but they have been steady. Quarterback Alex Smith has thrown for 669 yards and four touchdowns without an interception in three games. Jamaal Charles has added 224 rushing yards and 151 receiving yards.

The Giants fell to 0-3 on the season after an embarrassing 38-0 loss at Carolina last week. The Giants allowed 402 total yards to Carolina while amassing just 150 yards on their own. New York also had three turnovers, putting their season total at 11. The defense has given up at least 36 points in all three games this year and Eli Manning has thrown for 931 yards, but has eight interceptions to just five touchdowns.
