Cincinnati is coming off a 24-22 loss to Denver last week. The Bengals out-gained the Broncos 382-318, but Cincinnati could only amass just 72 rushing yards in the contest. Rookie quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 332 yards and two touchdowns in the losing effort. On defense, Cincinnati gave up 131 rushing yards to the Broncos.
The 49ers suffered a 27-24 loss at home to the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday. The game went to overtime despite the Cowboys out-gaining San Francisco 472-206 in the contest. The 49ers forced two turnovers on defense but gave up 427 passing yards in the loss. On offense, the 49ers had just 132 passing yards and running back Frank Gore had just 47 yards on the ground with one touchdown.
In terms of Injuries, San Francisco receivers Braylon Edwards and Michael Crabtree are both questionable with leg injuries while Cincinnati linebacker Keith Rivers is out with a wrist injury and defensive end Robert Geathers is questionable with a shoulder injury.
