Rams vs. Eagles Week 2 Prediction
After blowing a 17-point lead in a loss to Washington last Sunday, will the Eagles rebound in their home-opener today at 1:00 p.m. ET when they host a Rams team that beat another NFC East opponent last weekend in the Cowboys?
Game Snapshot
261 Los Angeles Rams (+1.5) at 262 Philadelphia Eagles (-1.5); o/u 45.5

NFL Week 2
Los Angeles Rams DFS Spin
Jared Goff completed 20-of-31 passes for 275 yards with an interception in the Rams’ Week 1 win over Dallas. Goff managed the Rams to a season opening win despite not throwing a touchdown. He locked on to Robert Woods for six of his completions and 105 yards. The Rams didn’t ask Goff to do much while protecting a fourth quarter lead. Playing in an offense without Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks, there’s a lot working against Goff this season. Goff has a get-right Week 2 matchup with the Eagles’ secondary.
Philadelphia Eagles DFS Spin
Eagles QB Carson Wentz went 24-for-42 against Washington in Week 1, throwing for 270 yards and two touchdowns while being sacked eight times. Without Lane Johnson, the Eagles offensive line was overwhelmed by Washington’s front seven. Wentz, after carving up the Washington secondary in the first quarter, had no time to operate through much of the final three quarters. Wentz was aggressive with downfield throws in the first half — perhaps a sign of things to come for Jalen Reagor and DeSean Jackson if the Eagles can provide more time for their quarterback to throw. Wentz gets the Rams in Week 2.
Rams vs. Eagles Betting Prediction
Week 2 is all about not overreacting to what we saw in Week 1 and what we saw in Week 1 was an Eagles team blow a 17-point lead largely because their offensive line nearly got Wentz killed. With Aaron Donald and the Rams coming to town, it’ll be easy to jump on L.A.’s bandwagon following its win over the Cowboys in prime time last week, but I’m fading that thought. The Eagles are a perfect 6-0 against the spread in their last six games versus the Rams, which includes a 4-0 ATS record at home versus L.A. We’ll see how well the Rams travel this Sunday, deal with a time change, as well as a pissed off Eagles team playing in their home opener.
NFL WEEK 2 BETTING PREDICTION: PHILADELPHIA EAGLES -1.5
