Ravens vs. Eagles Week 2 Free Pick

PHILADELPHIA, PA (ATS Consultants) – Will the Ravens pull off the small upset when they visit the Eagles today at 1:00PM ET in Philadelphia?

ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the Eagles as a 2-point home favorite over the visiting Ravens, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 46 points.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Eagles opened as 1-point favorites at some books and -2 at others. Depending on what book you use, Philly remains either a 1-point or 2-point favorite despite the majority of the public money sitting on Baltimore.

Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on this game, 87% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Ravens. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.

NFL FREE PICK: Baltimore is 3-1 ATS L4 in series. Philadelphia is 7-14 ATS vs. AFC North opponents. The Eagles struggled last week in Cleveland, winning 17-16 despite QB Michael Vick throwing four interceptions. If the Eagles’ offense struggles this week, they’ll be on the wrong side of a blowout. Baltimore played very well at home on Monday night, crushing AFC North rival Cincinnati, 44-13. Joe Flacco threw for 299 yards as the Ravens thrived in a no-huddle offense. Ray Rice was a secondary option but expect him to run the ball more against an Eagles’ defense that has two excellent defensive ends in Trent Cole and Jason Babin, but can be run on. Baltimore’s defense will be good enough to slow down Vick and "Shady" McCoy.
