HOUSTON, TX (The Spread) – The Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans both look to start 2-0 on Sunday when they meet at 1PM ET on CBS.

Tennessee is 1-0 on the season, 1-0 on the road and 1-0 against the spread. Houston is 1-0 on the season, 0-1 against the spread and playing in its home opener. Houston has won three of its last four against Tennessee.

The spread climbed up to 11 points before falling back to its low of 9. The over/under total for the game opened at 41 points. It hasn’t been lower than that and is currently at its peak of 43.

The Texans started the year with a come-from-behind win over the Chargers on Monday night. Houston trailed 28-7 in the third quarterback, but rallied to win 31-28 thanks to a Brian Cushing INT for a touchdown and a Randy Bullock 41-yard field goal as time expired. The Texans outgained San Diego 449-263 in the win. Quarterback Matt Schaub was 34 of 45 passing for 346 yards and three touchdowns to lead Houston.

The Titans picked up a surprising 16-9 win over the Steelers on the road to start the season. The Titans had just 229 yards of offense in the win but held Pittsburgh to just 195 total yards. Tennessee had five sacks and forced two turnovers on defense. Zach Brown had eight tackles and two sacks to lead the unit. Quarterback Jake Locker was just 11 of 20 passing for 125 yards. Rob Bironas was the key for the Titans, as he hit three field goals in the win.

In terms of Injuries, Tennessee running back Shonn Greene is questionable with a knee injury while linebacker Zaviar Gooden is questionable with an ankle injury. Houston safety Ed Reed is questionable with a hip injury while tight end Owen Daniels is questionable with a back issue.
