Of the games this week, the one with the most wagers going to one team comes in a 1PM ET game as the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Green Bay Packers. Oddsmakers at Bovada.lv currently have the Packers as a 4.5-point road favorite, but being a favorite on the road by more than a field goal isn’t scaring bettors. Currently Green Bay is getting 80 percent of the public betting as the 4.5-point favorite. The public clearly feels that the return of Jordy Nelson should spark Green Bay today. They also must feel that the Jaguars aren’t ready to take that next step.
One of the featured games of the day has the Arizona Cardinals hosting the New England Patriots tonight at 8:30PM ET. Oddsmakers have pushed the Cardinals to a 7-point favorite at home for the game. Bettors are jumping all over Arizona in this one, as the Cards are getting 72 percent of the wagers right now. Along with Tom Brady being out, news broke Friday that Rob Gronkowski also won’t play in this game. That has the public feeling very good about Arizona.

A game that has people pretty even is the Atlanta Falcons hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today at 1PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Falcons listed as a 2.5-point favorite over Tampa, but the Falcons are only getting 53 percent of the public wagers at home. The Falcons are coming off a lackluster season while Tampa showed some signs of promise in Jameis Winston’s rookie year. The Bucs won and covered in both 2015 meetings with the Falcons.
