The Texans suffered a difficult 31-28 loss at home to Houston on Monday. San Diego held a 28-7 lead on the Texans in the middle of the third quarter, but fell apart late and allowed the Texans to get back in the game. San Diego allowed 449 total yards to the Texans while picking up just 263 total yards of its own. Philip Rivers went 14 of 29 passing for 195 yards and four touchdowns, but the team had only 80 rushing yards and was led by Ryan Mathews, who had 33 yards on 13 carries.
