BALTIMORE, MD (The Spread) – Two AFC North rivals meet up on Sunday at 1PM ET as the Baltimore Ravens host the Cleveland Browns on CBS.

Baltimore is 0-1 on the season and 0-1 against the spread while playing in its first home game on Sunday. Cleveland hits the road for the first time. Cleveland is 0-1 overall and 0-1 against the spread. Baltimore beat Cleveland in both meetings last season.

Trends show that the road team has covered the spread in seven straight meetings and the two teams have hit the under in their last five meetings.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Baltimore is the favorite at home, as the Ravens have odds of -6.5 points against the Browns. The over/under total for the game has been set at 43.5 points (View Matchup). The opening odds for this game had the Ravens favored by 6 points. The spread reached a peak of 7 since falling back to 6.5. The over/under total for this game opened at 42.5 points. It climbed to a high of 44 before falling back to 43.5.

Baltimore was torched by Denver in the season opener, losing 49-27. The Ravens, who lost a lot of key pieces from last year’s Super Bowl winner, gave up 510 total yards, including 445 passing yards to the Broncos. The Ravens struggled to run the ball, totaling just 58 yards as a team. Quarterback Joe Flacco went 34 of 62 passing for 362 yards and two touchdowns in his first game since signing a new, lofty contract with the team.

Cleveland suffered a disappointing 23-10 loss at home to Miami. The Browns came in with some high hopes, but totaled just 291 yards of offense and committed three turnovers while allowing six sacks. Trent Richardson was held to 47 rushing yards on 13 carries while quarterback Brandon Weeden had 289 yards passing with one touchdown and three interceptions. The Cleveland defense didn’t have a poor outing, holding Miami to 275 total yards.

In terms of Injuries, Cleveland offensive lineman Shawn Lauvao is doubtful with an ankle injury while linebacker Barkevious Mingo is questionable with a lung issue. Baltimore tackle Michael Oher is doubtful with an ankle injury while receiver Jacoby Jones is out due to a knee injury.
