Brandin Cooks (quad) is questionable for Thursday night’s Week 1 opener against the Chiefs. After not practicing Tuesday, Cooks got in another limited practice Wednesday, putting him on the right side of the Q tag for Thursday night. We likely won’t know for sure until inactives are released beforehand, however, so Cooks’ fantasy managers need to be on the lookout ahead of kickoff. Kenny Stills would be the main beneficiary if Cooks is forced to sit.

Travis Kelce (knee) is not listed on the injury report for Thursday night’s Week 1 opener against the Texans. He’s good to go after being limited Monday before returning to full work Tuesday and Wednesday. Kelce is the premier tight end play of the week after shredding the Texans in their last matchup.
Texans vs. Chiefs Over/Under Prediction
Which side will be sloppier tonight: Offense or defense? That’s the question. No preseason. Truncated offseason. So which side of the ball is impacted more? I believe it could be the offense because of the lack of timing. For Houston, Watson is now working with new teammates after the team traded his No. 1 receiver to Arizona (Deandre Hopkins) and it’s going to take some time for him to feel comfortable with guys like Cooks, Stills and David Johnson. On the other side, Patrick Mahomes is already familiar with Kelce, Tyreek Hill and the rest of his skill position players, but whether or not they’ll be in rhythm right out of the gates is the question. I think this total is too high.
