(The Spread) – With the 2013 NFL regular season right around the corner, here’s your updated look at the odds to win this year’s MVP.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is currently 5/1 to win the 2013 NFL MVP, while Aaron Rodgers of the Packers has the next-best odds at 13/2. San Francisco signal caller Colin Kaepernick, meanwhile, is 10/1 to win next season’s MVP award, as is New Orleans QB Drew Brees. Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady are both 12/1, respectively.

Continuing with the current MVP odds, Matt Ryan of the Falcons is 15/1 to win, while Robert Griffin III (Redskins) and Russell Wilson (Seahawks) are both 18/1, respectively. Three players are 25/1 to win the MVP this season and they are Andrew Luck of the Colts, Calvin Johnson of the Lions, and Eli Manning of the Giants. Arian Foster, Ben Roethlisberger, Cam Newton, Matthew Stafford, Michael Vick and Tony Romo are all 33/1 to win the MVP award, respectively.

Some of the long shots include Matt Schaub and J.J. Watt of the Texans, who are both 40/1, respectively. Chris Johnson of the Titans, Joe Flacco of the Ravens, Marshawn Lynch of the Seahawks and Philip Rivers of the Chargers are 50/1, respectively, while Jay Cutler, Ray Rice, Alfred Morris, Jamaal Charles, Matt Forte, Steven Jackson and Doug Martin are all 66/1, respectively.

Andy Dalton, Alex Smith, Josh Freeman and Sam Bradford are all 75/1, respectively, to win the 2013 NFL MVP award, while Andre Johnson of the Texans and Brandon Marshall of the Broncos are both 100/1, respectively. The two players with the longest odds are Reggie Bush of the Lions, who is 150/1, and Tim Tebow of the Patriots, who is a massive long shot at 500/1.
