NFL Week 3 Preseason Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread ) – The all-important Week 3 of the NFL preseason kicks off on Thursday night and here’s a look at the point spreads for this weekend’s matchups.
The action this week will start in Philadelphia when the Eagles host the Steelers at 7:30PM ET. After dropping its first two exhibition games, the Eagles are 3-point home favorites versus the Steelers, who split their first two preseason contests. The total for Thursday night’s game is currently sitting at 50 points according to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI.com.
On Friday the Lions are 3-point home favorites over the Jaguars, who will get yet another look at surprising rookie signal-caller Blake Bortles. The Patriots are also 5.5-point home favorites over the Panthers while the Giants and the Geno Smith-led Jets’ line is currently a pick’em. The final two games on Friday night pit the Raiders as a 7-point road dog versus the Packers at 8:00PM ET and the Bears as a 7-point road dog at Seattle at 10:00PM ET.
On Saturday afternoon the Bills will be a 3-point home favorite versus the Bucs, who have yet to win a preseason game in 2014. The Falcons are also a 3-point home favorite versus the Titans at 7:00PM ET while the Dolphins are a 3.5-point home favorite versus the Cowboys at that same time. At 7:30PM ET, the Redskins are 4-point underdogs versus the Ravens and at 8:00PM ET, the Browns are 3-point home favorites versus the visiting Rams. The Colts are also 2.5-point home favorites versus the Saints at 8:00PM ET, while the Chiefs are 3.5-point home favorites over the Vikings at 8:00PM ET and the Broncos are a touchdown favorite over the Texans at 9:00PM ET.
On Sunday Week 3 of the NFL preseason wraps up when the 49ers take on the Chargers as a 6-point favorite at 4:00PM ET and the Cardinals are a 2-point favorite over the visiting Bengals at 8:00PM ET.
