Mora begins his second head coaching stint and does so with quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, who is returning from back injury that forced him to miss most of last season.

Detroit for defensive tackle Cory Redding. The loss of Peterson was addressed at the draft by taking
WakeForest linebacker, Aaron Curry fourth overall.
LaDanian Tomlinson is eager to get back to his old ways after a down 2008-09 season for
San Diego. Tomlinson, who re-signed with San Diego for three more seasons, has urged coaches to let him get extended play in the preseason, but that may not happen as the Chargers look to continue the development of Darren Sproles, who the Chargers put the franchise tag on this offseason. On defense, the Chargers will have the return of Shawne Meeriman who misses most of last season with a knee injury.
San Diego also addressed the defense with the 16th pick of the NFL Draft, taking Larry English a hybrid player out of
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Chargers 3-point favorites heading into Saturday’s game. The over/under total has also been set at 36.
Seattle is 2-0 against the spread versus
San Diego over the last three seasons and the Seahawks are 7-1 ATS in all preseason games.
San Diego is 1-1 straight up against
Seattle in the last three years and one of the two games went over the total.
San Diego is also 34-19 with the over vs. NFC teams.
Game time is set for 10PM ET from Qualcomm Stadium with clear skies in the forecast for kickoff. Both teams are expected to play most of their starters in the beginning, but the duration of their play is not likely to be anything past one quarter.
