Bills vs. Colts Free Pick
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (ATS Consultants) – The final preseason game of the week will take place today when the Bills visit the Colts at 1:30PM ET.
NFL Line Movement: Indianapolis opened as a -3-point betting odds favorite and moved to 3.5 or 4 points in most books. The total opened at 37 and moved to 36.5 in most books.
NFL Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on tonight’s game, 73% of the betting public favors the Colts. These numbers are subject to change leading up to the opening kickoff, however, so make sure to click on the link above to get the most up-to-date information.
NFL Preseason Free Pick: Take the under. The Colts were able to give Andrew Luck three more weapons in the offseason, including receivers Donnie Avery and Darrius Heyward-Bey along with running back Ahmad Bradshaw. Unfortunately the Colts will be without Heyward-Bey (knee) and Bradshaw (foot) in this game. Buffalo added quarterback Kevin Kolb as a free agent and he was expected to compete with rookie E.J. Manuel for the starting job. Kolb would be a nice stop-gap until Manuel is ready, but he slipped on a mat early in camp and injured his knee. That means Manuel will start tomorrow and the backup will be another rookie in Jeff Tuel. The Colts should be better defensively this year with the additions of defensive tackle Ricky Jean-Francois and safety LaRon Landry. Both teams will be conservative with young quarterbacks. Expect this game to be a low-scoring one.
