Michael Vick Odds

After serving 23 months in prison on federal dog-fighting charges, Michael Vick is now free to sign with any team he wants. But which team will he sign the troubled former star?

Bet 2009 NFL Prop Odds

Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have listed the New England Patriots and Orlando Tuskers (of the UFL) as 4/1 favorites to sign Vick first, although the Pats would seemingly hold the edge given that Vick has already stated that he wants to play in the NFL.

Following the Patriots and Tuskers at 4/1 are the Baltimore Ravens (5/1), Oakland Raiders (6/1), Washington Redskins (6/1), and San Francisco 49ers (7/1). A couple of UFL squads – the Las Vegas Locomotives and New York Sentinels – have each been given 29/4 to sign Vick’s services. The Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints are each 15/2.

To date, the 49ers, Bills and Seattle Seahawks (12/1) and Cincinnati Bengals (12/1) have all gone on record and stated that they have no interest in Vick. That doesn’t mean that they still won’t sign him, but if you’re a bettor, you have to recognize that those teams don’t offer much value. That said, keep in mind that Seattle’s new head coach is Jim Mora, who coached Vick when he was in Atlanta and who seemingly had a good relationship with him.
