Packers now favored to win Super Bowl
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The changes are slight but there is a new odds favorite to win the 2016 Super Bowl.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Packers are now 5/1 favorites to win next year’s Super Bowl while the Seahawks are 13/2. Green Bay opened with 8/1 odds while Seattle opened with 5/1 odds after losing to New England in last year’s NFL title game.
Speaking of the Patriots, they’re 10/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl, which puts them right behind the Colts, who are 8/1. The Cowboys and Broncos are both 12/1, respectively, while the eagles are 20/1 and the Steelers are 22/1.
Some of the mid-range long shots include the Cardinals and Ravens at 25/1, respectively, as well as the Bills, Bengals, Chiefs, Dolphins and Vikings at 33/1, respectively. The Falcons, Panthers, Lions, Saints, Chargers and 49ers are all 40/1, respectively, while the Bears, Texans, Jets and Rams are all 50/1, respectively.
The heavy long shots are currently the Raiders at 66/1, the Browns and Bucs at 100/1, respectively, and the Redskins at 125/1. The Jaguars and Titans each have the longest odds to win next year’s Super Bowl at 200/1, respectively.
