Updated NFL MVP Award Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – Will Peyton Manning claim back-to-back MVP awards? The odds remain in his favor.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Manning remains the favorite to win the NFL MVP award next season at 3/1 odds. Aaron Rodgers has the next best odds at 6/1 while Drew Brees is 15/2 and Tom Brady is 9/1. Colts’ third-year quarterback Andrew Luck is 12/1, while Jay Cutler and Russell Wilson are both 20/1, respectively.
Continuing with the odds, Colin Kaepernick and Matthew Stafford are both 22/1 to win the NFL MVP in 2014 while Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson and Robert Griffin III are all 25/1. LeSean McCoy and teammate Nick Foles are also 28/1, respectively, while NFC South rivals Cam Newton and Matt Ryan are both 33/1, respectively. Peterson won the award in 2012.
Fellow quarterbacks Philip Rivers and Tony Romo are both 40/1, respectively, to win next season’s MVP award, while Ben Roethlisberger and Marshawn Lynch are 50/1, respectively. Eli Manning, Jamaal Charles, Jimmy Graham and Matt Forte are all 66/1 to win, respectively, while Brandon Marshall, Demaryius Thomas, Dez Bryant and Julio Jones are all 75/1, respectively.
Some of the current long shots include Andy Dalton, Arian Foster, Chris Johnson and Rob Gronkowski, who are all 100/1, respectively, while Alex Smith, Alfred Morris, Antonio Brown, Demarco Murray, Eddie Lacy and Joe Flacco are all 150/1, respectively. C.J. Spiller, Frank Gore and rookie Johnny Manziel are all 200/1, respectively, while teammates Eric Decker and Geno Smith have the longest odds of the players listed at 300/1, respectively.
