Rams’ 2015 NFL Season Odds
ST. LOUIS, MO (The Spread) – The Rams haven’t won eight games in a given season since 2006 but that hasn’t stopped oddsmakers from setting St. Louis’ win total at 8 for 2015.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Rams’ win total for this upcoming season has been set at 8, while their Super Bowl odds are currently 40/1. St. Louis is also 20/1 to win the NFC Conference Championship in 2015-16 and is 13/2 to win the NFC West.
The Rams made a significant move this offseason by trading Sam Bradford to the Eagles in exchange for Nick Foles and draft-pick compensation. Jeff Fisher and Co. are hoping that Foles will stay healthy and give the Rams a full 16-game season, which is something Bradford was able to do only once in the last four years.
The other big offseason addition that the Rams made was selecting Todd Gurley with the 10th overall pick in April’s draft. The hope is that Gurley, Tre Mason and the running game will open up the play-action passing attack for Foles, who must prove he can succeed out of Chip Kelly’s system. The defense, which features four-first round picks in Robert Quinn, Chris Long, Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers along the line, is ready to win now. But another year of poor production from the quarterback position will sink the Rams for yet another year under Fisher.
