Luck gets extension with Colts
The Indianapolis Colts have locked up their franchise quarterback for another five years, as the team agreed to a new deal with Andrew Luck.
The team announced on Wednesday that Luck has agreed to a $140 million extension over the next six years, giving him the biggest contract in NFL history. Colts’ owner Jim Irsay tweeted the details.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Colts are listed with 25/1 odds to win Super Bowl LI next season. They are also listed with 12/1 odds to win the AFC Championship. The Colts are also a +160 favorite to win the AFC South, while their over/under total for regular season wins is set at 9.5
The mega contract for Luck comes after his worst season as a pro in four years. He only played in seven games due to injuries, but in the games he did play, he struggled. He threw for 1,881 yards with 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while completing just 55 percent of his passes. Despite all that, the Colts still went 8-8 and pushed for a playoff spot, but missed out by one game.
