Dolphins’ 2015 NFL Season Odds
MIAMI, FL (The Spread) – After adding one of the top free agents on the market this offseason, how many games will the Dolphins win in 2015?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Dolphins’ win total for the 2015 regular season has been set at over/under 8.5. They’re also 33/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl, 16/1 to win the AFC Conference championship, and 4/1 to win the AFC East Division.
This offseason the Dolphins signed defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to a massive free agent contract and also added tight end Jordan Cameron, receiver Greg Jennings and center J.D. Walton. Kenny Still was also added via trade with the Saints, while receiver DeVante Parker was the team’s first round pick.
Among Miami’s offseason losses were receivers Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson, running backs Daniel Thomas and Knowshon Moreno, as well as defensive tackles Randy Starks and Jared Odrick. Mike Wallace, Dannell Ellerbe and Charles Clay will also be playing elsewhere in 2015.
Fresh off of signing a new contract extension, quarterback Ryan Tannehill could be ready to take that next step and lead the Dolphins to a playoff berth. The additions of Parker and Cameron will help the offense, while the defense received a major boost with Suh. This, at least, looks like a 9-7 team on paper.
