Cowboys’ NFL Season Betting Odds
DALLAS, TX (The Spread) – After winning 12 games last season in route to a NFC East Division title, the Cowboys’ win total for 2015 has been set below the double digit mark by oddsmakers.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Cowboys’ win total for 2015 has been set at over/under 9.5. They’re also 10/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl, 6/1 to win the NFC Conference championship and are 5/4 favorites to repeat as division champs.
The Cowboys had a busy offseason, signing Darren McFadden and Greg Hardy to free agent deals and adding corner Byron Jones and troubled pass rusher Randy Gregory in the draft. They also signed La’El Collins to a rookie free agent deal after he went undrafted due to a police investigation into the shooting death of a pregnant woman Collins had a relationship with. (Collins was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing and was never a suspect, yet NFL teams stayed away on draft weekend.)
The biggest question facing the Cowboys is how they’re going to replace DeMarco Murray, who helped lead them to a division title and a playoff victory in 2014. Murray signed with the Eagles this offseason and now McFadden and Joseph Randle will be counted on to fill his shoes. If the running game doesn’t take too much of a step backwards then Dallas should once again rack up double digit victories.
