Broncos lose Ryan Clady for season
DENVER, CO (The Spread) – Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady tore his left ACL in Wednesday’s practice and will miss the entire 2015 NFL season.
Peyton Manning’s blindside tackle was limited to two games by a Lisfranc sprain in 2013 and struggled in his return in 2014. Clady turns 29 in September and now faces a long rehab process in order to be ready for training camp in 2015.
Chris Clark and Michael Schofield are options to replace Clady while second-round rookie Ty Sambrailo has been penciled in at right tackle. Clady’s injury is a massive blow for a team that already had questions along its offensive line.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Broncos are 12/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl and are 5/1 to win the AFC Conference championship next season. Despite Clady’s injury, Denver is still favored to win the AFC West.
