2015 NFC West Division Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – After making back-to-back trips to the Super Bowl, the Seattle Seahawks find themselves favored to win the NFC West Division in 2015-16.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks are 2/5 favorites to repeat as NFC West champs while the Cardinals are 5/1 and the Rams are 13/2. After parting ways with Jim Harbaugh and watching Patrick Willis, Chris Borland and Justin Smith retire, the 49ers are long shots to win the West at 15/2 odds.
The Seahawks upgraded their passing attack with the acquisition of tight end Jimmy Graham. They also signed defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin and cornerbacks Cary Williams and Will Blackmon to help offset the loss of Byron Maxwell, who signed with the Eagles. In the draft, Seattle selected defensive end Frank Clark in the second round and nabbed receiver Tyler Lockett in the third.
One of the more intriguing teams in the division might be the Rams, who traded Sam Bradford for Nick Foles and draft pick compensation this offseason. While the offensive line remains a huge question mark, the Rams are hoping that Foles can stay healthy for a full 16-game season, which was something Bradford hadn’t done since 2012. The Rams also boast one of the best pass-rushes in all of football thanks to former first-round picks Robert Quinn, Chris Long, Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers.
2015 NFC West Division Odds
Seattle Seahawks 2/5
Arizona Cardinals 5/1
St. Louis Rams 13/2
San Francisco 49ers 15/2
