Kevin White 2015 Prop Odds
CHICAGO, IL (The Spread) – Projected to play opposite Alshon Jeffery in the Bears’ new offense, how many receiving yards and touchdowns will Kevin White rack up in his rookie season?
After falling to the No. 7 overall pick in April’s NFL draft, the Bears selected White in part to replace Brandon Marshall, whom the team traded to the Jets a few months prior. Along with Alabama’s Amari Cooper (who was selected by the Raiders at No. 4), White was considered one of the top receivers in this year’s draft and a consensus top 10 selection.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the over/under for White when it comes to receiving yards in 2015 has been set at 800.5. The over/under for touchdowns for White, meanwhile, has been set at 6.
A year ago Odell Beckham Jr. was the league’s top rookie receiver as he caught 91 passes for 1,305 yards with 12 touchdowns. Fellow rookie Mike Evans caught 68 passes for 1,051 yards and 12 touchdowns and playing opposite Jeffery should allow White to match the production of Beckham and Evans assuming he stays healthy.
