Jameis Winston 2015 Prop Odds
TAMPA, FL (The Spread) – After he was selected with the top pick in last week’s NFL draft, how many yards and touchdowns will Jameis Winston compile in 2015?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the over/under for passing yards for Winston in 2015 has been set at 3,750, while the over/under for total touchdown passes is sitting at 19.5. He also has an over/under of 17.5 for total interceptions for the 2015 season and must start Week 1 or else all three of these prop bets will result in canceled action.
The Bucs took the Florida State quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick last Thursday. Winston completed 562 passes on 851 attempts over two seasons with the Seminoles, leading the team to a national championship victory in 2013 and a playoff appearance in 2014. he also threw for 7,964 yards with 65 passing touchdowns and 28 interceptions.
For sake of comparison, Teddy Bridgewater threw for 2,919 yards with 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions as a rookie with the Vikings last season, while Blake Bortles threw for 2,908 yards and 11 touchdowns with 17 picks with the Jaguars. Neither quarterback started Week 1 for his respective team.
