Crabtree Prop Odds

Michael Crabtree is expected to be the top wide receiver to be taken in the 2009 NFL Draft this Saturday, but where will he go?

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have established Crabtree’s odds to be taken with the No. 5 pick at 2/1. The next best odds are at pick No. 7 and pick No. 8 at 2.5/1.

The Cleveland Browns currently hold the No. 5 pick and some expect them to trade wide receiver Braylon Edwards by the end of draft weekend. If they do, Crabtree remains a major possibility at the No. 5 spot, although the Browns also have holes to fill on the defensive side of the ball and could look to trade down.

The Oakland Raiders currently hold the No. 7 pick and owner Al Davis is always looking to nab the flashy prospect, which certainly fits Crabtree. Davis would love to give quarterback JaMarcus Russell a legitimate No. 1 receiver to throw to and it’s hard to believe that he would pass on Crabtree if he feel to the No. 7 pick.

The Jacksonville Jaguars currently have the No. 8 pick and are always in need of receivers, but after recently signing veteran Torry Holt, it’s hard to believe that they would take Crabtree when they could address other needs.

Bellow is a complete list of player prop odds for Michael Crabtree. The 2009 NFL Draft starts on Saturday, April 25 at 4:00PM ET and will run through Sunday, April 26.
