Richardson sued for assault
CLEVELAND (AP) – Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson has been sued by two women who say they were assaulted at his home last year.
A lawyer for Krystal Jones of Maple Heights and Kathleen Hunter of Cleveland says the lawsuit was filed Friday in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.
The complaint, obtained by the Plain Dealer of Cleveland (http://bit.ly/YznbOg), says the women were invited to Richardson’s Columbia Station house in December but soon asked to leave. It says Richardson then cursed the women for “slamming a door” and “disrespecting his house.”
The lawsuit says Richardson banged on Jones’ vehicle, causing damage. It says Richardson then urged his girlfriend and two other women, also named in the lawsuit, to attack the plaintiffs.
A Browns spokesman declined to comment. Richardson’s agent didn’t immediately comment.
