Lynch considering retirement?
SEATTLE, WA (TheSpread) – Marshawn Lynch was a big part of the Seattle Seahawks’ run over the last three years, but has the infamous running back played his last game?
According to a report from ESPN, the veteran running back is contemplating retirement. The information comes from former Seattle fullback Michael Robinson, who is close to Lynch and has spoken to him since the Super Bowl.
“My bet would be that he plays next year in Seattle,” Robinson said Thursday during a 710 ESPN Seattle radio interview. “I don’t think Marshawn knows yet. I don’t know what the timeline is. It’s probably going to be a feel thing, and we’ll just see like everybody else.”
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Seattle Seahawks are the current favorite to win Super Bowl 50, as they are getting odds of 11/2 to win. The New England Patriots have 6/1 odds while the Green Bay Packers have 7/1 odds.
