According to online sports book Bovada.lv, the 49ers are 4-point favorites (-105) versus the Ravens (-115), while the over/under total is currently sitting at 47.5 points. Baltimore is also +140 on the money line while San Francisco is -160. The Ravens are +3 (-120) in the first half, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 23.5.

According to latest NFL trends, the Ravens are 4-0 against the spread in their last four playoff games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games versus a team with a winning record. They're also 4-1 ATS in their last five games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

As for the 49ers, they're 5-1 against the number versus a team with a winning record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games on fieldturf. San Francisco is also 10-3 ATS in its last 13 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in its previous game, 25-11-1 ATS in its last 37 games overall, and 16-7-1 ATS in its last 24 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in its previous game.

The under is 4-0 in the Ravens' last four games on fieldturf, 4-1 in their last five games overall, and 4-1 in their last five playoff games. The under is also 4-1 in Baltimore's last five games versus a team with a winning record.

The over, meanwhile, is 6-0 in the 49ers' last six games overall, 5-0 in their last five games versus a team with a winning record and 5-1 in their last six games following an ATS win. The over is also 4-0 in San Francisco's last four games following a straight up win and 5-0 in its last five games versus a team with a winning record.

Thirty-nine of the 46 Super Bowl winners have owned top-10 defenses. The better defense in the Bowl has gone 22-10 straight up and 17-13-2 against the spread since 1981, although these teams are only 2-4 straight up and 1-5 ATS over the last six years.

Some other trends to consider: Super Bowl favorites battlign opponents off back-to-back straight up and ATS wins are just 13-10 straight up and 7-14-2 ATS. If you're think the over is going to hit because of the fast track in New Orleans, know that 12 of the 18 Super Bowl games on artificial turf have played under the total.
