According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Danny Trevathan is expected to play the biggest role for the Broncos’ defense on Sunday, as he has been given over/under odds of 7.5 solo+assisted tackles for the game against Seattle.
Trevathan led the Broncos in tacking this season, recording a total of 128 tackles with 87 solo tackles. He also has two sacks and three interceptions. Trevathan played in all 16 games this season, averaging 8 tackles per game. In the playoffs, he had 8 tackles in the AFC Championship, but had just 4 tackles against San Diego. He has had at least 8 tackles in 10 of the 18 games he has played in.
Champ Bailey is finally getting his chance to play for a Super Bowl ring. He will be relied on in the Denver pass defense. He has been given odds of +350 to record an interception in the game and a money line of -500 to not get an interception. Bailey has been battling injuries all season long and has yet to record an interception this season in the seven games he has appeared in. Bailey has 52 career interceptions over a 215-game career. Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson threw just 9 interceptions during the regular season and he has yet to thrown an interception during the playoffs.
