According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Boldin has been given odds of 16/1 to be the Super Bowl MVP on Sunday. He also has over/under odds of 69.5 receiving yards and 4.5 receptions for the game against the 49ers.

Boldin had a steady regular season for the Ravens this year, catching a total of 65 passes for 921 yards. He was also targeted 112 times. Boldin missed the regular season finale, so he averaged 4.3 receptions and 61.4 yards per game. Boldin also had four touchdowns on the season, but it was in the playoffs that he really seemed to shine. In the three games he totaled 16 receptions for 276 yards and three touchdowns, including two big touchdown catches in the AFC Championship Game. Boldin has had at least 70 receiving yards in nine of his 18 games and caught at least five receptions in nine games as well. The last time Boldin appeared in the Super Bowl was in 2009, when he caught eight passes for 84 yards against the Steelers when he played for the Cardinals.

Boldin and the Ravens’ passing game will be going up against one of the top passing defenses in the NFL on Sunday. San Francisco ranked fourth in the NFL this season in passing yards allowed, giving up just 200.2 yards per contest. However, the Broncos were third in the NFL in pass defense, and the Ravens threw for 324 yards on them in the divisional playoff round. San Francisco also allowed Atlanta to throw for 396 yards on them in the NFC Championship, with three different Falcons picking up at least 70 receiving yards and seven receptions.
