Vince Wilfork Super Bowl Props
GLENDALE, AZ (The Spread) – Vince Wilfork has had a tremendous NFL career. Can he add to his numbers this Sunday when the Patriots face the Seahawks?
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Wilfork isn’t listed among the Super Bowl MVP candidates. He would be part of the The Field, that is getting 25/1 odds. Wilfork is getting over/under odds of 2.5 tackles and 0.5 sacks for the game. Super Bowl XLIX will be played on Sunday, Feb. 1 from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona at 6:30PM ET.
Wilfork has a total of 47 tackles this season but didn’t record a sack during the year. This marked the second straight season Wilfork went without a sack, but he missed most of last season with an injury. Wilfork had four tackles in the win over the Ravens a few weeks ago and then went without any tackles against the Colts in the AFC Championship.
Of the 18 games that Wilfork has appeared in this season, he has recorded at least 3 tackles in seven of those games. In his playoff career, which consists of 19 games, Wilfork has had at least three tackles just three times. Wilfork has a total of 3 sacks in his playoff career, with 2.5 of those coming in the 2011 season.
