Bill Belichick’s Hoodie Odds
GLENDALE, AZ (The Spread) – He is known as “Hoodie” by many. What will Bill Belichick’s attire look like for Super Bowl XLIX as the Patriots face the Seahawks?
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, the odds for Belichick’s attire are backing a Grey hoodie, as that has odds of -200. Other options are Blue (+175) and Red (+700). Super Bowl XLIX will be played on Sunday, Feb. 1 from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona at 6:30PM ET.
It is hard to find a lot of numbers to rely on for this type of wager, but a study was done by a Patriots blog called “Pats Propoganda” back on Halloween of last year that charted Belichick’s attire and the team’s success. Citing 160 of 180 games since the 2000 season to last year’s Halloween, Belichick has won a grey hoodie the most, doing so 71 times out of the 160 games. He has gone with blue 21 times and red just seven times. He has also won a polo 29 times during warm weather games, which could play out inside a dome in Arizona.

Another wager regarding the hoodie is whether or not the hoodie will have sleeves. Oddsmakers think the sleeves will be cut, as it has odds of -150 to happen, while the odds of the sleeves being intact are set at +110. Belichick has went without sleeves in 50 of the games that he has worn a hoodie since this study was conducted. Obviously, with the Patriots playing in the winter weather outdoors often, that can impact the figures. With the Super Bowl in Arizona, sleeves may not be necessary.
