EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (The Spread) - Richard Sherman has been the center of attention for the past week and oddsmakers have compiled prop odds centered around him for Super Bowl XLVIII.

Ever since his post-game interview with Erin Andrews immediately following the Seahawks' win over the 49ers in the NFC championship game, Sherman has been a lightning rod for media attention. Some have ripped him for not showing enough class, while others have defended him for being passionate and honest. No matter what your view is of Sherman, he's made himself the center of attention as Super Bowl XLVIII draws near.

In order to cash in on all of the headlines surrounding Sherman this week, oddsmakers have compiled a list of prop odds that center on the cornerback himself. Such as: Will Sherman receive a taunting penalty in the game? According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodvada.lv, the odds are against it at -700, while the odds are +400 for it. So, if you think he'll receive a taunting penalty at some point during the game, you could win $400 for every $100 that you wager, or if you don't think he'll be penalized for taunting, you'll win $100 for every $700 that you wager.

Will Sherman receive an unnecessary roughness penalty in the game? The odds of that happening are even less than him receiving a penalty for taunting. The odds for Sherman receiving an unnecessary roughness penalty are +550 and the odds against it are -900. Thus, you'd only make $100 on every $900 that you wager if you don't think that Sherman will receive an unnecessary roughness penalty.

Will Richard Sherman receive a pass interference penalty in the game? The odds actually come down a lot for this prop. The odds that he will be flagged for pass interference are +150 and -200 against it. He did draw a flag last week in coverage and the 49ers only threw at him twice during the NFC title game. Thus, there's a little bit of value in betting on him drawing a pass interference penalty.

Will Sherman be interviewed on field after the game by Erin Andrews on the live FOX broadcast? Oddsmakers are split on this as the odds are -120 for and -120 against. If the Seahawks win, there's a great chance that FOX will target Sherman to be interviewed but if the Broncos win, then obviously Sherman will be headed to the locker room when Andrews is interviewing Denver's players.

Finally, will Michael Crabtree mention Sherman in a tweet during the Super Bowl from kickoff until final whistle? The odds are +150 for and -200 against, so oddsmakers are somewhat undecided on whether or not Crabtree will let his interaction with Sherman go during the Super Bowl. One thing to consider is that some players from the losing NFC and AFC title games don't even watch the Super Bowl because it's so painful. It's a reminder of how close they got to the big game.
