According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Thomas is expected to play a decent role in Denver’s offense, as he has been given over/under odds of 5 receptions and 55.5 receiving yards against the Seahawks.

Despite having a full stable of weapons, Thomas proved to be a reliable part of the Denver offense and another superstar tight end developed under Peyton Manning. Thomas caught 65 passes this season for 788 yards with 12 touchdowns. He finished second on the team in touchdown catches and ended up averaging 56.3 yards and 46.4 receptions per game during the regular season.

During the postseason, Thomas has continued to have a big role. He had six receptions for 76 yards in the win over San Diego and then caught eight passes for 85 yards against the Patriots. He hasn’t scored a touchdown in the playoffs, but is averaging nine targets per game in the postseason.

Thomas has caught at least five passes in nine of the 16 games he has played in and has had at least 57 receiving yards in six games. The Broncos will be facing the top pass defense in the NFL this season in Seattle. The Seahawks gave up 77 receptions for 793 yards and six touchdowns against tight ends this season. That ranked eighth in the NFL in regards to fewest yards.
