SEATTLE, WA (The Spread) – Russell Wilson has done a lot in his short NFL career. Will he have another big outing in Sunday’s NFC Championship against the Packers?
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Wilson has been given over/under odds of 219.5 passing yards, 1.5 touchdown passes and 39.5 rushing yards. The Seahawks will face the Packers on Sunday at 3:05PM ET on FOX in the NFC Championship Game.
Wilson has always been an efficient player. This season was no different as the third-year quarterback threw for 3,475 yards and 20 touchdowns with seven interceptions while rushing for a total of 849 yards and six scores.
Last week against the Panthers, Wilson went 15 of 22 passing for 268 yards with three touchdowns while rushing for 22 yards on seven attempts. When the Seahawks hosted the Packers in the season-opener back on Sept. 4, Wilson was 19 of 28 passing for 191 yards with two touchdowns while rushing for 29 yards on seven carries.
Wilson has thrown for at least 220 passing yards in seven of Seattle’s 17 games this season and he has had at least two touchdowns passes in nine different games. Wilson has eclipsed 39.5 rushing yards in eight games and his season-high in rushing was 122 yards against the Redskins. On Sunday, Wilson is facing a Packers defense that ranks 10th in passing, giving up 226.4 yards per game. Green Bay is also 23rd in rushing defense, giving up 119.9 yards per game.
