SAN FRANCISCO, CA (The Spread) – The Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers meet up in an anticipated playoff matchup Saturday night. Here is a look at the prop odds available for this game.

View Updated 2013 Super Bowl Odds

The 49ers come into this game as the favorite at home, as they have odds of -3 points against the Packers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 45 points. There are a number of key players on both sides of the ball. For San Francisco, the defense and play of Aldon Smith will be key against the Packers’ offense. Similarly, the pass rushing ability of Clay Matthews for the Packers will be important. According to oddsmakers from, both players have been given an over/under of 1.5 sacks in the contest.

Aldon Smith has 19.5 sacks this season, putting him right near the NFL lead. He had at least 1.5 sacks in seven games this season. In the season-opener with the Packers, Smith had just one sack. He was also held without a sack in his last three games of the regular season. One concern for Green Bay is its pass blocking, as the Packers allowed 51 sacks this season, second-most of any team in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers was sacked three times in the Packers playoff win over the Vikings.

Matthews had 13 sacks this season despite missing four games during the year with an injury. He only tallied at least 1.5 sacks in three games during the season, but one was against San Francisco in the season-opener, as he had 2.5 sacks. Matthews had two sacks in last week’s playoff win over the Vikings. He has had at least one sack in four straight games. The 49ers have not been awful at pass blocking, but still rank in the lower third of the NFL, having allowed a total of 41 sacks this season.
