Hawks favored over Pack in title game
SEATTLE, WA (The Spread) – Following the Packers’ win over the Cowboys on Sunday, oddsmakers have released the spread for the 2015 NFC Championship Game in Seattle.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Seahawks have opened as 7-point home favorites over the Packers for next Sunday’s NFC title game in Seattle. The total, meanwhile, has opened at 47 points.
That same 7-point spread can be found at most Las Vegas sports books, although some places list the total at 46.5 instead of 47. But the consensus at books is that the Seahawks will be around a touchdown-sized favorite when the two teams kick off at 3:05PM ET.
The Packers rallied to beat the Cowboys 26-21 on Sunday in Green Bay but failed to cover as 5.5-point favorites. The Seahawks, meanwhile, routed the Panthers 31-17 as a 12-point home favorite on Saturday. While the total in the Green Bay-Dallas game fell under the number of 52.5, the over hit in the Carolina-Seattle game, which was 40 at kick off.
