NFL Divisional Playoff Updated Odds
(The Spread) – There hasn’t been a ton of line movement in terms of the NFL Divisional Round playoff games but there has been some. Let’s check out the updated odds. The Denver Broncos will host the Baltimore Ravens at 4:30PM ET on Saturday and after opening as an 8.5-point favorite Peyton Manning’s squad is now -9.5 at most sports books. As for the total, it opened at 45 but according to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, it’s now sitting at 46.5. One reason the over might be climbing in the Denver-Baltimore matchup is because Joe Flacco and the Raven offense looked like it got back on track last weekend. But Flacco has struggled mightily on the road this year and Ray Rice appears to be slowing down. (He also fumbled twice in last Sunday’s win over the Colts.) The primetime game on Sunday night will feature the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers, who opened as 3-point favorites at most sports books. That number has since dropped to 2.5 at some online books but the MGM Mirage and other Vegas books still list the Niners at -3. The total, meanwhile, opened at 45.5 and has steadily dropped since then. It’s now sitting at either 45 or 44.4 depending on the book. On Sunday the Atlanta Falcons will host the Seattle Seahawks in hopes of avoiding starting 0-4 in the postseason under head coach Mike Smith and quarterback Matt Ryan. The Falcons opened as a 2 or 2.5-point favorite and that’s where the line is currently sitting at in Las Vegas. That said, you can find Atlanta as low as -1 or Seattle as high as +3 if you shop around. Also, if you like the over in this game you should hop on it now. It opened at 44.5 but has climbed to 46. The late game on Sunday is a rematch of a horrible regular season effort by the Houston Texans, who were blown out 42-14 by the New England Patriots in December.
