Houston Texans Fantasy Spin
NFL Network’s James Palmer reports Will Fuller (questionable, groin) will play Sunday “unless anything crazy happens between now and game time.” Texans coach Bill O’Brien called Fuller a game-time decision for Sunday’s matchup against the Chiefs. Deshaun Watson would certainly benefit from getting his ace field-stretching WR back in the lineup. Overall, Watson has averaged 8.69 YPA and a 7.1% TD rate in 22 games with Fuller compared to 6.99 YPA and a 3.9% TD rate in 17 games without. Kenny Stills would move into the slot for three-WR sets if Fuller is ultimately active.
Kansas City Chiefs Fantasy Spin
Travis Kelce (knee) is questionable for the Chiefs’ Divisional Round matchup against the Texans. Coach Andy Reid said Friday that Kelce’s injury is “more of a bruise than anything.” The Chiefs’ long-time stud TE is fully expected to suit up this week. Only Michael Thomas (1,725), Julio Jones (1,394) and Chris Godwin (1,333) had more receiving yards than Kelce (1,229) this season.
Houston
The under is 21-6 in the Texans’ last 27 games after allowing more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.
Kansas City
The over is 7-3-1 in the Chiefs’ last 11 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.
NFL Divisional Round Prediction
The under is 7-3 in the Texans’ last 10 games overall, is 22-10 I their last 32 conference tilts and is 5-2 in their last seven games played in the month of January. The under is also 5-1 in the Chiefs’ last six games overall, is 4-1 in their last five games as a favorite and is 40-18-1 in the Chiefs’ last 59 games as a home favorite.
