SEATTLE: The Seahawks finished the regular season as one of the hottest teams in the NFL, winning five in a row to head into the postseason. In Week 17, Seattle beat division rival St. Louis 20-13 but failed to cover as an 11-point home favorite. Rookie Russell Wilson completed 15-of-19 passes for 250 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions, while running back Marshawn Lynch rushed 18 times for 100 yards. Golden Tate topped the 100-yard receiving mark with three catches for 105 yards and Michael Robinson caught three passes for 33 yards and one touchdown. The win ran Seattle's record to 11-5 and 11-5 against the spread. The Hawks covered in four of their last five games to round out the regular season.

WASHINGTON: For as hot as the Seahawks were in the final month, the Redskins were even hotter. They won seven straight games to wrap up the regular season with a 10-6 record and became NFC East Division champs when they beat the Cowboys 28-18 in Week 17. Rookie Robert Griffin III completed just 9-of-18 passes for 100 yards and also rushed six times for 63 yards and a touchdown. Fellow rookie Alfred Morris stole the show, however, rushing 33 times for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Pierre Garcon also recorded three catches for 46 yards while Santana Moss hauled in two passes for 22 yards. The Redskins finished with an 11-5 record against the spread and covered in all seven of their final games.

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Redskins are 3-point home underdogs versus the Seahawks while the over/under total is currently sitting at either 46 or 46.5 points depending on the sports book.

TRENDS: The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams in Washington while the home team is 4-1-1 against the spread in the last six meetings. The favorite is also 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings between these two teams although the Seahawks are just 2-5-1 against the number in their last eight games versus the Redskins.
