Titans, Texans Dogs in Divisional Round
The the Texans and Titans advanced to the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs with wins on Saturday, but the AFC South teams will find themselves as large underdogs versus the AFC’s top two seeds next weekend.
Titans at Ravens, Saturday, 8:15 p.m. ET
Our NFL Betting Odds page shows that the Ravens opened as 10-point home favorites over the Titans but the line was bet down to 9.5 and even 9 at some online sportsbooks. As for the total, the number hit the board at 48.5 before it was bet down to 47.5.
After watching him rush for 182 yards and a touchdown on his 26th birthday Saturday night in Foxborough, the Ravens know they have to slow down Derrick Henry if they’re magical ride this season is going to continue. Henry single-handedly put the Titans offense on his back to knock off the Patriots, running over defenders from the start. He compiled 106 rushing yards and a score in the first half and the proved to be a headache for New England in the fourth quarter when Tennessee was trying to run clock.

Texans at Chiefs, 3:05 p.m. ET, Sunday
While the Texans aren’t a double-digit underdog like the Titans, they do face long odds of knocking off the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium next Sunday. Houston opened as an 8-point favorite but the line jumped to 8.5 at most books. As of this writing, 72% of the betting tickets are on the host Chiefs.
Deshaun Watson was incredible on Saturday afternoon versus the Bills, completing 20-of-25 passes for 247 yards and a touchdown. He also added a second touchdown as a runner, compiling 55 yards and a score on 14 rushing attempts. His biggest play came in overtime as he somehow escaped a sure sack to hit Taiwan Jones for a 34-yard catch-and-run deep pass to set up the game-winning field goal for Houston.
