Seahawks vs. Eagles Total Prediction
A pair of banged-up teams will square off in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon for Wildcard Weekend when the Eagles host the Seahawks at 4:40 p.m. ET. Given the amount of injuries on both sides, is the under a safe play at 45 points?
Game Snapshot

Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA

Seattle Seahawks Fantasy Spin
Seahawks LT Duane Brown (knee, biceps) has been ruled out for the team’s Wild Card matchup against the Eagles. Brown’s continued absence is bad news for the Seahawks’ chances at slowing down a beastly Eagles defensive line that sacked Russell Wilson six separate occasions when these teams first met in Week 12. Each of DT Fletcher Cox (No. 7) as well as DEs Brandon Graham (No. 17) and Vinny Curry (No. 24) rank among PFF’s top-25 players at their respective positions.
Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Spin
NBC Philly’s John Clark reports “there’s optimism” Zach Ertz (questionable, ribs/back) plays in Sunday’s Wild Card game against Seattle. Ertz was limited in practice all week and still hasn’t been cleared for contact. Despite that, it now looks like he’ll try to play through a fractured rib and lacerated kidney. Ertz is going to be far less than 100 percent if he suits up. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Dallas Goedert outsnap Ertz if both are active.
Seattle
The over is 7-2 in the Seahawks’ last nine games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
Philadelphia
The under is 11-2 in the Eagles’ last 13 home games versus a team with a winning road record.
NFL Wildcard Weekend Prediction
The under is 8-1-1 in the Eagles’ last 10 playoff home games, is 5-1 in their last six games as a home underdog and has cashed in five of their last six Wildcard matchups. The under is 5-2 in the Seahawks’ last seven playoff games as a favorite and is 8-2 in their last 10 games as a road favorite.
